Healthy Information

The Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) have a web site, where you can get information on food allergies.  There are some things your child can do to help keep their friends who have food allergies safe:
Don’t share your food with food allergic friends.
Wash hands after eating.
Ask what your friends are allergic to and help them to avoid it.
If an allergic schoolmate becomes ill, get help immediately!
Please remember that we have students with various food allergies in the school.  We have a nut free/milk free table and a nut free table in the lunch room.  Our lunch monitors will guide your child regarding sitting at these tables.

If your child has medication in school it must be picked up on the last day of school June 16th by the parent/guardian.  We will not be calling you to pick up the medication if you forgot.  All leftover medication will be discarded by June 23rd.  Contact the Health Office before the end of school if you need to make alternate arrangements.  New forms for medication orders for September will be mailed home.  Medication orders must be renewed every school year.
Remember to apply sun block when your child is outside.  It is a good idea to apply it before school so they will have protection during gym, recess and any other outside activity during the school day.  You may also want to send in a water bottle as the days are warmer.

I wish all of you a safe, healthy, and most of all a fun summer!
